Your body is a marvelous machine. Putting your body to work can increase your physical strength, resistance to disease and improve your outlook on life.
Some of the advantages of exercise are: Exercise helps control weight. Maintains healthy bones, muscles, and joints. Exercise reduces risk of developing high blood pressure and diabetes. It promotes psychological well-being. It reduces risk of death from heart disease and also reduces risk of premature death. It increases lung capacity and recharge oxygen supply. It relieves stress, tension and depression. It improves sleep naturally. It promotes the body’s ability to get rid of toxic wastes. It improves metabolism, strengthen the bones, improves posture and prevent the big C word CANCER.
Exercise should last from to 30 – 60 minutes per day or per session. If you cannot exercise for one reason or the other, take a daily walk. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Walk to the store. Leave your desk and visit your co-workers instead of sending him an email or text messages. Walk and talk with friends instead of meeting for a meal.
